We were drifting off into an inescapable void of still thought. Our legs tangled around each other in an effort to stay close. The Earth, floating farther away, a distance that somehow became unreachable to us now.

Whispering with intense mythology
Collapsing within the strands of time

There wasn't anything that could be done. We gazed at it, entering the event horizon, and no amount of cosmology could help by then; but the opalescence of our memory could be seen on the outside because...
