Effortlessly I can feel myself walking
Gently, as thin strings pull at my heart, closer
Tugging, I move in a fragile dance
A rhythm escaping me, of which cannot be described
Your eyes glistening now, your hands holding me
A puppet to your will, I am now
A calm air that sweeps across our feet
Misty omens that tell of a long night a head
Glasses of wine decorating diagonal white tables
Aligned towards us as we faintly pick up speed
Invisible waves of lust sink in slowly
Pressing up against our skin
Following us as we elegantly entice one another
The rich velvet curtains hung, are blown away
Windows open, voices of angels encourage us
Organs and church bells and violins
Everyone is watching, but we can only see each other
For you are the world, I am yours
And we are both ourselves
Entangled, sewn, strung, stitched
Separated, I fear naught, for we cannot be
As the candles simmer into empty pools of
Morphed wax and flame
A metamorphosis, just as we
A transformation, a ritual, fate
And bonded with love's first kiss
Tempo decreases into a fine largo
And our eyes begin to close
The fires of the moon are dimmed
The sun within our hearts dies down
When two become one
